We have wondered if this red tomato was indeed a Quebec variety because we found no recent or old documents referring to it; at least, not by this name. Until the day when, by chance (this is often the case), we discovered its real name: “Québec 473”.  Indeed, in addition to its firmness, it is excellent in bruchetta and salad as it stays firm and maintains its flavor. The fruit is about 100 to 300 grams on a compact plant that measures at most 50 centimeters.  Good size for small vegetable gardens. Another peculiarity of this fruit is that it grows all season long on the plant and stays fresh even after picked. You will eat a lot because it is very productive. In danger of extinction.
