Sow: Start seedlings 6-8 weeks before last frost ¼’’ deep. Transplant 2 weeks after last frost – acclimatise seedlings before planting

Harvest: the stems throughout the season. Prune down before first frost

Thyme is common throughout North America, but it originated in the southern Mediterranean. Experts in language tell us that thyme’s name was derived form the Greek word thumus, or courage.

Companion plants. All cabbage family plants, eggplant, potatoes, strawberries, and tomatoes. Thyme repels cabbage worms and whiteflies.
