A European heirloom favorite (1805), this pear shaped cherry produces an abundant amount of sweet, juicy and low acid fruit. The original seeds came from the Cottage Gardener Ontario. Children love it.

This plant produces a TON of fruit so make sure to have something for it to grow on and eat them as they mature.

The pear tomato originated in Europe in the 18th century.   Within the next century both England and the United States were introduced to the fruit. In 1752 records show the English using it for flavoring soups.
