Produced on the farm, this small medicinal fruit is originally from India and is used there as an adaptogen and stress/anxiety reducer.  It is also said to work on a woman and her reproductive sexual organs and vitality.  You use the root and fruit in the preparation of your apothecary.

We obtained the original seeds from les Jardins Féconds de Kélanie in Frontenac Qc.

Sow : Indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost surface deep, transplant 2 weeks after last frost.  150 days for fruit

Harvest:  When fruit is ripe inside a paper envelope similar to a ground cherry.
