Grown on the farm, this heirloom spinach (1826 USA) was bred by David Londreth, seed farmer. The leaves are sweet, tough yet tender and grow in cold season weather. Original seeds from High Mowing, VT.

Sow: Early spring up until late summer ½ – 1’’ deep.

Harvest: When leaves are desired size, larger leaves get bitter.
