Grown on the farm, this heirloom (1880) from Danemark is a long, sweet storage beet. Le Noyau and Ferme Cadet Roussel are adapting this variety to our Quebec climate.

Sow: Direct sow 2-3 weeks before last frost ½’’ deep, 1’’-2’’ apart

Harvest: All season long and when greens are 6″ tall
