Sow: Start indoors about 2 weeks before last frost and transplant out after last frost.  Because it needs alot of heat, we recommend not direct seeding them in regions where the season is short.  This variety is a gift from Annapolis seeds and Owen Bridge who has been selecting the best plants and pods for some years now.

We love the idea of growing our own peanuts and we have to admit they are kinda like spies because they grow inconspicuously and the squirrels don’t even know they are there because the pods grow under ground.  They produce a beautiful yellow flower as well so a nice addition to the garden.

Harvest: After 90-100 days and the bean is brown and dry
