Grown on the farm, this incredibly fast growing vining plant produces copious amounts of dark purple delicious fruit that are eaten raw or cooked for jams and pies. We got the original seeds from our good and dear friend Patrice Fortier from
La Société des Plantes in Kamouraska. As we were on a 1 on 1 walk through the garden he pointed to the bush and said 'you need to try this' and boy am I happy I did. I loved them so much I grabbed a bunch and boom, grew them on my farm. We love the huckleberry especially because it reminds us of when our kids were young and we played the
Wildcraft game. The ultimate goal of this amazing cooperation game is to get to your grandmothers house, with enough huckleberries to make her a pie. Along the way, you get sick and need to use wild plants to heal yourself.
