Grown on the farm, this sweet, thin & frizzy lettuce has an oak leaf shape. Seed in early spring or late summer as it does not tolerate heat very well. The original seeds are from Fedco Seeds, MN, however the seed was developed by Frank Morton and the Wild Garden Seed project.

Sow: Indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost 1/8’’ deep Harvest: When leaves throughout the growing season or harvest the whole head when mature Lettuce is cool-season crop that grows well in the spring and fall in most regions.
