Grown on the farm, this special green cherry tomato won 1st place in a taste test competition at the Mtl Botanical Gardens in 2019 with the Exceptionnelles project. Stays firm for a while after harvest. Seeds from Fedco, Maine.
These tomatoes are both firm and prolific. The sweet flavour of the tiny (1.5″) long fruits is considered by some to ressemble that of a green grape. We had a hard time keeping up with the amount of tomatoes that this plant was producing. Great for just popping in the mouth or for salads. Will Bonsall from the Scattered Seeds project shared a pack of seeds with us from his collection and this is how Le Noyau obtained them.
Named in honour of the two doctors, Amy Goldman and Carolyn Male, who have written influential books on tomato varieties. (Source Fedco seeds)
