This plant is very similar to Blue Verveine, but not really. The leaves and the plant are smaller, the flower heads are round and compact and the overall plant takes up way less space. Great for areas of your garden that are really wet. 7 Song from the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine in NYstate uses it as a (nerve tonics - neurotropho restaurative) nervine tea, comparing the taste to yarrow.
Grown on the farm, we got these original seeds from the non-profit organization Wild Seed project - Main native seeds, that protects indigenous plants, trees and shrubs in the Northeast of the US, Canada and Turtle Island. I love how regal and healthy these plants. They are really easy to maintain once you have them in the ground. It just takes a bit of time and patience to stratify, germinate and acclimatize the plant.
It is recommended to consult a certified therapeutic herbalist or another qualified healthcare professional before use.
